Sightseeing

Near Anshin House is a
park where ducks
often swim. There is a beatiful
cascade too
Not far from the house there is a lot of
beautiful nature with mountains
and a river.
20min (by car to the top) from
the house
is Moiwayama (mountain) and from
its top
you can have a grandiose night
view of Sapporo.
In Summer the sightseeing areas
are always
open and you can get up to Moiwayama
by car
or by ropeway.
Halfway up the mountain
there is a very quiet and peaceful
place
where you will find a Buddhist
temple
(heiwa no tou=Peace Pagoda).
If you climb Moiwayama on foot,
I definitely
recommend finding this temple.
In winter you can also ski on Moiwayama.
